    My choices today prepare me for tomorrow's goals. Each day is a chance to make my life worth living. It is a tragedy to waste precious moments. I embrace every opportunity to achieve something great. I choose to actively work towards my goals regardless of the obstacles. Instead of crumbling under boulders of doubt, I choose to climb atop them and be victorious. Time is too precious to cower in fear of the unknown. I set a mission for myself each day. Having the foresight to attack goals in small parts is beneficial to my success. Although there are temptations that sometimes sidetrack me, I quickly resume my focus. I remind myself of what I am aiming at. That reminder easily puts me back on track towards hitting a target. My daily personal and professional goals support my life goals. My focus today is to become someone who knows how to handle success. Achieving this means hitting smaller daily targets successfully. Today, I spare very little time on idle exploits because I am on a road to success. Downtime is beneficial for renewal of purpose but I commit to resuming my journey. My choices today are an indication of what I am setting myself up to achieve tomorrow. Self-Reflection Questions: 1. How do I go about determining which choices are the right ones for me? 2.     8 Mistakes Successful People Don't Make – or Don’t Repeat Do you keep making the same mistakes? If you do, you might find that you make little progress in your life. There is a huge opportunity to learn from your mistakes. Those that successfully learn from their mistakes wind up being highly successful. Those that repeat them struggle. Imagine how your life would be different if you never made the same mistake twice.Learn from your mistakes and vow to never repeat them:1.Successful people avoid making excuses. Excuses are preparations for failure. An excuse is a justification to fail or quit. No one will resolve your challenges for you. Take responsibility and do the best you can.2.Fail to have an objective. Life without goals is a random experience. Unfortunately, without a direction, your life will tend to get worse rather than better. Have a goal or expect to be disappointed. What are your goals right now? Do you have them written down? What do you think you’ll accomplish over the next six months if you don’t have any goals?Create 3-5 goals that you can accomplish over the next six months.3.Fail to have a plan. If you have a goal, you must have a plan for achieving it. One isn’t much good without the other. Avoid hoping and wishing your goals will come true on their own. Take the bull by the horns.4.Successful people don’t repeat their mistakes. Most of us make the same mistakes repeatedly. Whether it’s making a poor choice in a mate, overspending, or trying to gain new customers through ineffective means, people are creatures of habit. Make habits of your effective behaviors, rather than your ineffective behaviors.5.Expect others to change. Is it easy to change your own attitudes, beliefs, or behaviors? And you want to change! Consider how hard it would be to change someone else. And they don’t want to change! You can’t change others.6.Choosing comfort over progress. Perhaps the largest mistake of those who struggle in life is the tendency to place short-term comfort over long-term advantages. This is a very ineffective way to deal with life. This is the friend that asks to sleep on your couch for a few days and is still there after three months.7.Not playing to their strengths. The most successful people take full advantage of their strengths at every opportunity. While it’s admirable to work on your weaknesses, most successful people choose to avoid them. You can’t be good at everything. Use your talents and strengths as much as possible.8.Ignoring the little things. It’s the little things that will derail your efforts. It’s easy to ignore the seemingly mundane details, but those details can make all the difference in the end.Make use of your mistakes. Learn from them and decide to avoid them in the future. Life is easy if you don’t repeat your errors.What are the major mistakes you’ve made repeatedly? Why do you think you repeat them?     I am in balance with the energy of the universe. The universe has energy and forces that align with my being. I am in balance with the world in front of me. I use my energy to work and help others each day. I am a positive spirit on a tumultuous planet. I keep my balance as chaos swirls around me. I know my balance depends on my energy input and output during the day. I keep my spirit nourished and healthy. I conserve my energy to maintain my balance. I am an active spirit who needs energy to thrive. I am grateful the universe provides me with the opportunity to rebuild my energy reserves. I use nature and the world around me to restore my spirit. I connect to the energy fields that surround me. My energy connects me to people, animals, and nature. It helps me see the network that is part of the universe. Every function in my body depends on my energy. I use my energy wisely and avoid negative experiences that deplete it. I am happy to focus on positive ways to restore my body. Today, I see how my world is shaped by energy. I notice the energy around me. I am grateful the universe gives me the strength to restore my energy each day. Self-Reflection Questions:1.     What does it mean to live intentionally? Living an intentional life is the opposite of living a life of chance with a lack of awareness. What are your long-term goals? Why did you decide to read this article? Why did you choose the foods that you did for your last meal? If you can’t answer these questions without giving it some thought, you’re not living intentionally. Choose to live an intentional life: 1.Intentional living requires making decisions. You can’t have any intention without having made a decision first. Sit down and choose a direction for your life. What do you want to accomplish? What do you want to own? What kind of life do you want to live? Make some choices and then choose your actions each day in accordance with those objectives. 2.Evaluate your behavior. To live an intentional life, you must evaluate and understand yourself. Why do you do the things you do? Why do you fail to do the things you don’t do? What motivates your actions each day? Are you moving toward short-term pleasure or avoiding short-term pain? Or are your actions directed toward an intentional purpose? Before taking any action, ask yourself what your intention is. Are you heading toward the refrigerator to satisfy your hunger, ease your anxiety, cure your boredom, or fuel your body in a healthy manner for what lies ahead in the next few hours? Evaluate all of your chosen and avoided behaviors. Learn what makes you tick. 3.Examine and know your values and beliefs. Your values and beliefs can make it easier to live intentionally. You might have the intention to live a life based on contribution, honesty, or love. Your belief that everyone should be able to read can guide your life. Giving your values and beliefs priority makes many of your formerly challenging decisions obvious. 8.The key to intentional living is mindfulness in all parts of life. Mindfulness seems to be the cure for everything except the common cold. Be mindful of your intentions, thoughts, actions, and goals. If you’re truly mindful, you’re already living an intentional life. An intentional life creates more thought than an unintentional life. You must make conscious decisions and question your thoughts and actions. Seek to be more aware of your desires and choose your behaviors accordingly. Habits can mask your intentions by removing the thought process from the equation. 6.Know your intentions for each day. You may have a broad intention of having financial freedom. A narrower intention might be to be debt-free. From there, you may have the intention of saving more money so you can pay down your debt faster. Your intention for today might be to avoid any spending that isn’t absolutely necessary. 7.Be proactive. Is your apartment lease ending in three months? Start looking for new place. The alternative is to wait until you’re out of time. Then you have few options and you can’t really live intentionally. You’re forced to roll the dice and take whatever you can find on short notice. This is the opposite of intentional living. 8.The key to intentional living is mindfulness in all parts of life. Mindfulness seems to be the cure for everything except the common cold. Discover How to Use Your Subconscious Mind to Get What You Want
You’re familiar with your conscious mind. You use it to choose a channel on the TV or to decide what you’re going to have for dinner.
But there’s another aspect to your mind, the subconscious. Your subconscious is most active during sleep and when you’re mildly distracted. Consider how many brilliant ideas you’ve had while showering, driving, mowing the grass, or taking a walk.
When you’re alone and relaxed, but mildly occupied, your subconscious can shine. Your conscious mind is occupied enough for your subconscious to speak to you. During most of the day, your conscious mind is making too much noise.
Your subconscious is active day and night. Few people take advantage of this powerful resource. Imagine having such a powerful ally working for you 24/7. You’d be unstoppable.
Your subconscious is a bit like a savant. It’s brilliant in some ways, but not too bright in others. Think of it as a computer with a vast store of information. It wants to help you, but it needs simple instructions.
So how can you take advantage of this powerful resource?
Use this process to put your subconscious to work for you:
1. Make a request of your subconscious mind. While lying in bed at night, tell your subconscious what you want. Write it down. There’s something more concrete when you take pen to paper. It also engages your brain at a higher level.
For example: “I want to find three creative, effective, and inexpensive ways to market my business.”
Read the request aloud five times.
1. Write your request five times and then turn off the light.
2. Imagine yourself being successful. In our example, how will you feel when you find and implement these three creative ideas? How will your life and finances change?
3. Repeat steps one and two in the morning. It will only take three minutes. You can do it. Of course, you won’t be turning off the light when you’re finished. It’s time to start your day!
4. Pay attention. You’ll find your subconscious feeding you solutions over the next few days. It’s important to pay attention to them. Write them down. Thank your subconscious for the information.
5. Act on the information. This is the biggest sticking point for most people. We love to gather information, but fail to act. Use the ideas that are presented by your subconscious. If you fail to act on them, you’ll eventually stop receiving them. No one likes to be ignored, including your subconscious! Even the smallest action can have a big impact. Avoid being like everyone else that ignores their great ideas.
6. Be patient. While your subconscious can present you with advice very quickly, implementing habit changes can take weeks. For example, if you want your subconscious to assist you in changing your diet and exercise habits, you might not see any progress for a few weeks. Be patient.
The subconscious is a powerful tool that few use to their advantage. It’s been suggested that your subconscious can consider billions of possibilities during a night of sleep. The information your subconscious provides is very high quality. It’s the best your brain has to offer from billions of options. Why aren’t you using it?
Start small so you can experience a few easy successes. The confidence you’ll gain will be beneficial when making requests that require more time to fulfill. Your subconscious is always busy, so ensure it’s busy working on the things you desire!
